I was first exposed to the SEO and digital marketing industry while in my final year of university.
In my early roles in the indudstry I was exposed to a varied amount of SEO work, from doing on-site optimisation for an adult clothing retailer, local seo optimisation for national property builders to outreaching content marketing campaigns for sports betting brands.
This varied exposure put me in a good place when I changed from hands-on SEO work to agency consultancy, to management of SEO teams and finally to starting my own consultancy business.
